Your Agent is smart, but it doesn't know NEXT U's production line: which step comes first, which steps cost credits, where the finished ad lands.
NEXT U Skills teaches it all of that in one install. Afterwards your Agent knows every step from product photo to finished ad — and when to estimate costs first. You just say: "make an ad from this product photo."
In ChatGPT, use nextu-ad-mcp with an authorized NEXT U MCP connection. The CLI installation below is for agents or ChatGPT Work environments with terminal access, an installed nextu CLI and a local login. Both skills use the same NEXT U account.

How it works

Choose your workflow: ChatGPT uses nextu-ad-mcp with an authorized MCP connection; agents with terminal access can use the nextu-ad-studio CLI skill.

For MCP, follow the guide to connect the account and load the skill. For CLI, install the skill and nextu, then sign in with nextu login. Connection and package loading depend on your account, workspace and platform.

Provide a product URL, or upload assets to a project on the NEXT U website first, then describe the ad you need.

Prepare content and review media estimates before authorizing generation. Results sync to your NEXT U account and can be continued on the website.

nextu-ad-mcp guides project selection, content preparation, estimates, generation and retrieval. Authorize the account first. Installing a skill does not sign you in or imply publication in OpenAI's public directory.

How do Skills relate to MCP and the CLI?
The CLI is the command tool, MCP is the server you add to an AI tool, and Skills is the knowledge pack that teaches your Agent how to use them to walk the pipeline. Same account and credits behind all three.
Do I need anything besides Skills?
MCP: connect through NEXT U's browser login and authorization. CLI: terminal access and an installed nextu CLI are required; generate a token in Studio → Settings → CLI and sign in with nextu login. Do not paste tokens into a ChatGPT conversation.
Will my Agent waste my credits?

Can I inspect what gets installed?
Yes. The Skills repo is public on GitHub (nextu-studio/skills) — the full contents are visible before and after install.
Can MCP use my product photo attached in ChatGPT directly?
ChatGPT attachments and local file paths are not automatically uploaded to NEXT U. Upload photos to a project on the NEXT U website first, then select that same-account project through the authorized MCP connection. A public product URL is another option.
