Credit Validity

Credits are prepaid units used to pay for generation on NEXT U. The anchor value is fixed at 1 credit = USD $0.01. All prices are calculated as credits multiplied by the credit value, ensuring that the same credit amount always corresponds to the same cost.

Each top-up package specifies its own validity period, currently ranging from 90 to 365 days depending on the package. Credits expire at the end of that period. The Member Center displays the remaining balance and expiry date of each credit lot. Credits are consumed on a first-in, first-out basis, with the oldest expiry date used first.

Unused credits that reach their expiry date are forfeited and cannot be exchanged for cash. Expiry events are recorded in your transaction ledger.

Credits are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and have no cash value except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.

USD pricing is fixed at credits multiplied by $0.01. New Taiwan Dollar (NTD) amounts are shown for convenience and fluctuate daily based on the Bank of Taiwan USD spot-selling rate plus a small buffer. The credit cost of an item does not change with currency or language.

Promotional credits are credits granted at our discretion rather than purchased — for example, the 120 free credits granted to new sign-ups during our launch campaign. They are valid for 7 days from the moment they are granted to your account, a shorter window than any paid top-up package.

Promotional credits are forfeited automatically once that 7-day period ends. Expired promotional credits are not reissued, not extended, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Expiry is recorded in your transaction ledger in the same way as paid credits.

When promotional credits and paid credits are held at the same time, all credits are consumed under the single first-in, first-out rule described in Section 2 — the lot with the earliest expiry date is deducted first. Because promotional credits carry the shortest validity period, in practice they are usually deducted before your paid credits — unless you already hold a paid credit lot whose expiry date is even earlier, in which case that lot is deducted first.

Promotional credits are not obtained through payment, so the 7-day cooling-off refund described in our Refund Policy does not apply to them. Refunds are calculated solely on the amount you actually paid for a top-up.
