Create Product Ads in Claude: NEXT U MCP and Skills Guide

To make ecommerce ads in Claude, add NEXT U as a remote MCP custom connector. Claude can prepare copy and scripts, then use NEXT U to generate images, video and music. This suits brands and creators with product details ready who want to move a project forward in conversation. You need a NEXT U account; media generation uses NEXT U credits. The guided website workflow is also available.
Check account and workspace access
Claude's official guide lists remote MCP custom connectors for Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, with one custom connector on Free. Team and Enterprise require an authorized administrator to add the connector before members sign in individually. Check your account's options and organization policy. A NEXT U account does not unlock Claude features.
Add NEXT U and authorize access
Server URL: https://nextu.studio/api/mcp. This connects NEXT U's existing remote service; it does not imply a Claude directory listing or Anthropic endorsement.
- Add a Web or remote custom connector in Claude. Enter NEXT U and the complete server URL, following the official connection guide; interface labels may change.
- Choose sign-in authorization, then review your account and access on NEXT U's login and consent screen. Do not paste passwords, tokens or authorization credentials into chat.
- Enable the connector in the conversation. Ask Claude to list your NEXT U projects to verify the tools and account before making changes or generating media.
Start with a product URL or a prepared project
Use a publicly accessible product URL, or upload assets on the NEXT U website first and select an existing project in the same account. The remote connection cannot read files on your computer. Attaching a photo in ChatGPT or Claude does not automatically save it to a NEXT U project.
Provide the product name, verified features, audience, placement, language and aspect ratio. Resolve unreadable pages, unsuitable photos or ambiguous project names first; use a project ID when needed. Do not ask Claude to invent specifications, benefits or customer reviews.

Adapt this example to your project. It is a suggested brief, not the original prompt behind the public demos. Review copy and scenes before deciding which media to generate.

Check estimates, missing inputs and fees
Ask for an estimate, balance and warnings before generating. Missing video scenes or settings can leave items out of the estimate. A zero or a warning means you should complete the inputs and estimate again before approving generation.
Credits are deducted when generation starts; failed generations are refunded automatically.

Skills are optional instructions, not authorization
The connector supplies tools; a Skill supplies repeatable instructions. Installing a Skill does not sign you into NEXT U. You can start with the connector alone. Custom Skills in Claude require code execution and file creation; organization policy may restrict uploads.
For the existing package, sign in to the NEXT U studio and download it from Settings → Skills. It contains several workflows. For a Claude conversation using the remote connector, choose skills/nextu-ad-mcp. Extract the package and ZIP that folder alone: the ZIP root should contain the nextu-ad-mcp folder with SKILL.md and its reference files inside. Upload and enable it using Claude's custom Skills instructions. Do not upload the entire multi-platform package as one Skill. The nextu-ad-studio workflow separately requires a terminal and local CLI.
Check job status, review and download
After approving the direction and estimate, ask Claude to generate the required media and check each job's status. Submission is not completion. Review products, logos, text and faces before editing completed video assets. Check extra usage before regenerating; one estimate does not cover unlimited revisions.
Request result links or open the project on the website using the same NEXT U account to continue editing, previewing and downloading. Retrieve expired links again from the project. Review asset permissions, product claims and placement requirements; AI output does not guarantee advertising performance.
Images offer 1K, 2K and 4K options; finished video is downloadable as MP4 along with production assets. Choose portrait or landscape before generating. A video has one aspect ratio; another version requires a separate creation and cost check.

These are existing public AI ad demos. The notes suggest what to review; they are not original production logs, customer endorsements, cost reports or performance results. Videos load when you press play.
